Pastor John MEAUX graduated in 1993 from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He and his wife, Julie, moved back to the Des Moines area and spent a season volunteering in areas of the helps ministry in their local church. He then served as an Associate Pastor for four years. In October of 1999 he accepted the Senior Pastor's position in Indianola, Iowa at a church called "House of Praise Family Church". A few years later they changed the name of the church to Destiny Bible Church.
